Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has recently announced the latest iteration of its programming software and a list of newly added compatible chip models. In this update, Nordic Semiconductor's system-on-chip (SoC) nRF52810-QFAA has been supported by Acroview's offline chip programmer AP8000.
The nRF54LM20A belongs to the nRF54L series, which also includes the nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05. All wireless SoCs in this series integrate an ultra-low-power 2.4GHz RF module and an MCU, feature a 128MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor, come with a comprehensive set of peripherals, and offer scalable memory configurations. The series provides multiple package options and memory capacity choices, supporting CSP and QFN package types.
Nordic's proprietary technologies, such as low-leakage RAM and advanced multi-protocol radio design, achieve ultra-low power consumption, thereby reducing battery size or extending service life.
The nRF54LM20A is suitable for products using Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE), Channel Sounding introduced in Bluetooth 6.0, Thread, Matter, Zigbee, and proprietary 2.4GHz protocols, supporting data rates up to 4Mbps. Additionally, this chip can run Wi-Fi protocol stacks for the nRF70 series companion ICs.
The nRF54LM20A is the largest memory capacity model in the series, featuring 2MB of non-volatile memory and 512KB of RAM. Its characteristics include a high-speed USB interface, an expanded peripheral set, and up to 66 general-purpose input/output pins.

Features
• 128MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor
• RISC-V coprocessor
• 2MB NVM
• 512KB RAM
• Ultra-low-power multi-protocol 2.4GHz radio
• Integrated versatile MCU functionality
• High-speed USB
• Global real-time clock available when system is off
• 14-bit ADC
• High-speed serial interface
• Secure boot, secure firmware update, secure storage
• Cryptographic accelerator with side-channel leakage protection and tamper detector

Functional Block Diagram
Acroview's self-developed AP8000 universal programmer is a powerful programming solution that supports online and offline versions for one-to-one and one-to-eight configurations, and also offers specialized programming solutions for eMMC and UFS, fully meeting the bare-chip (offline) and on-board programming needs for all chip models in the Nordic series. The AP8000 consists of three core components: the main unit, the baseboard, and the adapter socket. As an industry-leading universal programming platform, it not only accommodates the programming requirements of various programmable chips on the market, but also serves as the core programming platform for Acroview's master chip programmer IPS5800S, efficiently supporting large-scale programming tasks.

The main unit supports both USB and network connections, enabling networking of multiple programmers for synchronized control of programming operations. The built-in safety protection circuit can instantly detect abnormal conditions such as incorrectly placed or short-circuited chips and immediately cut off power, ensuring the safety of both the chip and the programmer. The main unit integrates a high-speed FPGA, significantly improving data transmission and processing speeds. There is an SD card slot on the back of the main unit. Users can save project files generated by the PC software to the root directory of the SD card and insert it into the slot. Then, using buttons on the programmer, they can select, load, and execute programming instructions without relying on a PC, which not only reduces PC hardware costs but also facilitates rapid setup of a working environment.
With its combination of baseboard and adapter board design, the AP8000 greatly enhances the expandability of the main unit and currently supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including ALTERA, GOWIN, ALOGIC, NVIDIA, analogix, and others. The device types supported include NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, EMMC, etc., and it is compatible with various file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, POF, and more.
