Acroview Programmer Supports ChipON's 32-bit Automotive-Grade Microcontroller KF32A140KQT

Acroview, the leader in chip programming, has announced the expansion of its compatible chip coverage with the release of its latest programming software. The company’s core product, the universal programming platform AP8000, now fully supports ChipON Microelectronics’ 32-bit automotive-grade microcontroller KF32A140KQT.

The KF32A140KQT is a 32-bit automotive-grade microcontroller launched by ChipON Microelectronics, featuring the self-developed KungFu32 core. It is designed for high reliability and cost-effectiveness, targeting automotive and industrial control applications. The KF32A140KQT is a high-performance processor core with a 3-stage pipeline architecture and offers the following features:

The device supports flexible one-to-one and one-to-eight configuration modes, and offers both online and offline operation. It also features dedicated programming solutions for eMMC, UFS, and other memory chips, covering offline bare-chip programming and on-board programming for the entire range of ChipON microcontrollers. The AP8000 main unit offers flexible connectivity with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can conveniently achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the main unit integrates intelligent safety protection circuitry that monitors chip placement and circuit connections in real time. Upon detecting anomalies such as reversed insertion or short circuits, it triggers an immediate power-off protection mechanism, safeguarding the chip and programmer. The main unit is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency to ensure smooth and efficient programming. To enhance convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the back of the main unit. Users can save project files generated from a PC to an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then use the programmer's physical buttons to select, load, and execute programming operations, enabling standalone operation without a PC. This design reduces dependence on computer hardware and simplifies the setup process, greatly improving operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of base board and adapter board, effectively extending the main unit's functionality. Currently, the device supports products from major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and other well-known brands. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, eMMC, etc., and is fully compatible with industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
