Acroview Programmer Supports Analog Devices' Timing Controller ADM1063BCP

author::Microelectronicsrelease date:2026-04-08Viewers:10

Acroview, a leader in chip programming, has officially expanded its compatible chip coverage with the release of its latest programming software. The company’s core product—the universal programming platform AP8000—has now been fully adapted to support Analog Devices' timing controller ADM1063BCP.

The ADM1063BCP is a configurable power supply monitoring and sequencing device that provides a single-chip solution for power monitoring and sequencing in multi-power supply systems. In addition to these functions, it integrates a 12-bit ADC for accurate readback of up to 12 independent voltages.

The ADM1063BCP also offers up to 10 programmable inputs, capable of monitoring undervoltage, overvoltage, or out-of-window faults on up to 10 power supplies. Furthermore, 10 programmable outputs can be used as logic enables. Six of these programmable outputs can deliver up to 12V to drive N-FET gates placed in the power path.

Acroview’s self-developed AP8000 universal programmer has become a benchmark professional programming solution in the industry. The device supports flexible 1-to-1 and 1-to-8 configuration modes, offers both online and offline operation, and features dedicated programming solutions for memory chips such as eMMC and UFS. It fully covers offline bare-chip programming and onboard programming for the entire range of Analog Devices chips. The AP8000 adopts an innovative modular design consisting of three core modules: mainframe, baseboard, and adapter, providing excellent compatibility and expandability. As a universal programming platform, it not only adapts to various programmable chips on the market but also serves as the core component of Acroview’s automated batch programming system, the IPS5800S, efficiently handling high-volume chip programming tasks to meet mass production demands.

The AP8000 mainframe offers flexible connectivity, equipped with both USB and NET interfaces, enabling easy networking of multiple programmers. Through networking, users can conveniently achieve synchronized control of multiple programmers for efficient parallel programming operations. In terms of safety, the mainframe incorporates intelligent safety protection circuits that monitor chip placement and connection status in real time. Upon detecting abnormalities such as reversed chip insertion or short circuits, it immediately triggers a power-off protection mechanism, ensuring the safe operation of both the chip and the programmer. The mainframe is equipped with a high-speed FPGA chip, significantly improving data transmission and processing efficiency for a smooth and efficient programming process. To enhance user convenience, an SD card slot is provided on the back of the mainframe. Users can store project files generated on a PC onto an SD card, insert it into the slot, and then select, load, and execute programming operations using the programmer’s physical buttons, enabling PC-independent operation. This design not only reduces dependency on computer hardware but also simplifies the setup process, greatly improving operational flexibility.

In terms of expandability and compatibility, the AP8000 adopts a modular combination of baseboard and adapter board, effectively extending the functionality of the mainframe. The device currently supports products from all major semiconductor manufacturers, including SK hynix, Micron, SANDISK, ASR, Kingston, and others. It supports a wide range of device types, including NAND, NOR, MCU, CPLD, FPGA, and EMMC, and is fully compatible with multiple industry-standard file formats such as Intel Hex, Motorola S, Binary, and POF, providing users with a one-stop, full-scenario chip programming solution.
